Since I am a doctor [although I do administrative], I am giving you my two cents since I signed the petition. While our system has its flaws, the present reform goes against the grain of our nation.

The present reform may hurt those who need medical care the most. In many countries with socialized health care, people are on waiting lists for even the most basic surgeries.

Even England with its socialized health care system has had to recur to private clinics. The same applies to Canada. Please feel free to write to me about health care and about sports.

I can remember that Oregon and Maine have the closest thing to socialized medicine and it did not work. I am sending you a link to a book that I wrote four years ago.
