My congratulations to the US Womens Soccer Team in their victory over Mexico 1-0 on the 31st of March 2010. It is also extended to Abby Wambach for her goal at 60 minutes. It was evident from the beginning that the USA had posession of the ball and the game from the beginning.

The game itself was played under close to impossible circumstances at the Rio Tinto Stadium. It reminded me of when the Dallas Cowboys played the Miami Dolphins at Dallas, Texas on Thanksgiving Day 1994 when both teams braved snow and ice.

The US Women Soccer Team deserved their victory and deserve to be called the Snow Angels for their effort and reaction to their first and only goal. Regardless, it was great to watch the game and enjoy both teams playing a football/soccer game which almost resembled a World Cup one.
