We have only Three Short Days to ACT.

 
This afternoon, President of the Florida PTA, Karin Brown,  had an opportunity to speak with Governor Crist.  He advised that he is still considering all sides of SB6.  He claims to want to make the best decision for children, teachers and education in the State of Florida.   Governor Crist mentioned to Karin Brown that, while he has heard overwhelming outcry from the teachers, he would like to hear more from the parents, students and community partners within our school community.
 
THE GOVERNOR WILL SIGN, ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, BY FRIDAY.
 
 We will continue to fight.  Once again, please contact the Governor of Florida, and ask him to VETO this legislation.
 
Please forward this email on to your neighbors, your friends, your relatives, and even speak to companies with which you do business.  Ask them to take just a moment and send an email, or make a call.
