The renowned British Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking declared that extraterrestrial life may exist but that it would be dangerous for humans to interact with them. He made the following declarations in a soon to be released Discovery Channel documentary  «Stephen Hawking’s Universe».

In the documentary, he warned about the existence of life outside of the Earth in the form of microbes and/or small animals. He also warned about the existence of «advanced forms of extraterrestrial life» that could be «nomads» and «colonizers» who could be looking for places to «conuqer» and «colonize».

He also said that the risk posed to humans interacting with extraterrestrial life could be the equivalent of when Christopher Columbus «discovered» America and what happened to the indigenous population in the American Continent.
