Pachuca Vencedor En La Liga Campeones CONCACAF

Pachuca y Cruz Azul midieron fuerzas en el Estadio Hidalgo en México para la gran final de La Liga Campeones CONCACAF. Durante el partido, ambos dieron rienda suelta en la pelota y en los intentos de anotar un gol.

Las sustituciones y las amonestaciones no daban la fórmula para una victoria. Parecía inevitable la extensión del partido en tiempos extra hasta los últimos minutos del partido.

Edgar Benítez sorprendió al publico del Estadio Hidalgo y sus compañeros de los Tuzos con una patada directa [con el pie izquierdo] hacia el centro del arco para anotar un gol en el minuto 92.

Mis felicitaciones para Pachuca por ganar el título de Liga de Campeones CONCACAF 2009-2010. Lo merecen.

Pachuca Wins CONCACAF Champions League During Injury Time

Pachuca and Cruz Azul faced each other in the final chapter of the 2009-2010 CONCACAF Champions League at the Estadio Hidalgo in Mexico. It was a game that both teams had to win or wait until another opportunity arises.

The game itself was filled with attempts to score goals, and dominate the field which Pachuca eventually did. The last few minutes were filled with tension until Edgar Benitez finally scored a goal within 92 minutes.

He scored with a direct kick with his left foot into the centre of the goal post. It was over after Pachuca won the CONCACAF Champions League and Cruz Azul became the team that reached the CONCACAF Champions League Final only to lose it for the second straight year.

Cruz Azul also is one of the few teams that have reached the finals of any championships to lose it the fifth straight time.
