Mexico Is Renovating Itself For The 2010 FIFA World Cup

Mexico has just defeated Chile 1 to 0 in Estadio Azteca after defeating Angola a few days ago during their USA Tour with the same points. The victories occurred during the preliminary games before the 2010 World Cup. It appears that Mexico may have learned its lesson after a draw against Ecuador and barely winning another game against Senegal and Angola.

Alberto Medina was the person who scored the goal against Chile while Javier [Chicharito] Hernandez showed his mastery of the ball in front of the goalie from the Chilean National Team.

The team also showed consistency and discipline in its form of play. It was a dynamic team with a strong offensive as well as a defensive plays. The Mexican National Team showed signs of life and was vibrant.

The qualities that existed in this game will be needed for future games including one against England in Europe. It remains to be seen whether El Tri [the nickname for the Mexican National Soccer Team] learned from its mistakes in the American Continent. Europe is a different field all together.
