Según la revista española ABC, dimitió El Presidente de la Federación Inglesa de Futbol [FA Siglas en Ingles] Lord Triesman después de calumniar a España. También anuncio su dimisión como Presidente del Comité para que Inglaterra sea anfitrión de la Copa Mundial para 2018 o 2022.

La calumnia fue grabada de una conversación privada y esto está por ampliarse. La calumnia se trataba de una colaboración entre España y Rusia para ganar la Copa Mundial FIFA 2010 mediante el soborno de los árbitros.

Inglaterra pidió disculpas por lo que sucedió.

Que estaba pensando Lord Triesman con sus calumnias contra España? Considero que logro dañar la imagen de Inglaterra antes del mundo. Aunque amo a los ingleses, estoy convencido que los EEUU merece una victoria en el Grupo C de la Copa Mundial FIFA 2010.

Estoy convencido de que los EEUU [y España]merece hoy más que nunca ser sede de la Copa Mundial 2018 o 2022 debido a la falta de responsabilidad de este Sr.

 

According to the Spanish Magazine ABC, Lord Triesman has announced his resignation as President of the FA [Football Association of England] and the organization promoting England as the host for the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The basis for the resignation was a false accusation which was recorded in secret in which Lord Triesman accuses Spain of collaborating with Russia to bribe referees in the 2010 World Cup with the purpose of winning the event. England asked forgiveness for what happened.

What was Lord Triesman thinking about? It is of my opinion that he damaged England’s reputation in the football/soccer world. It took a long time for England to recover from a bad reputation only to have everything unravel.

While I respect the English people, this event only reinforces my support for the US Soccer Team in its quest for the 2010 FIFA World Cup trophy [hopefully]. The incident also reinforces the fact why USA [maybe Spain] deserves to host the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup.
