Jozy Altidore (a striker for the US Soccer Team) ha suffered an mild right ankle sprain during training practice with the national team. He was taken to the hospital for X Rays to determine the possibility of his participation in the friendly game against Australia on June 5, 2010.

He will also be undergoing a fitness test as well since he was expected to be one one of the principal players against England on June 12, 2010. Neil Buethe (spokeperson for the US Soccer Federation) has declared that the sprain was mild but will need further evaluation.
