2010 FIFA World Cup: The Future Of Fabio Capello

In the wake of England’s humilliating loss to Germany during the Quarter Finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Fabio Capello is planning to meet with senior officials of the Football Association (FA) which is the governing body of the English Football/Soccer Team.

The talks will be centered on his performance and future as coach of the English National Football/Soccer Team. Fabio Capello has denied that he is resigning but it is common that his future looks uncertain.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup has seen the departures of Le Guen from Cameroon and Domenich from France as well as other possible departures. At the time of this writing, there are calls from US Soccer Supporters and its authorities for the resignation of its current coach Bob Bradley.

While it remains to be seen what the talks may lead to, it is inevitable that Capello will be forced to resign. The same thing will happen to Bob Bradley for one reason. When the teams are winners, the coaches are praised and their contracts extended. When the teams lose or lose within the last stages, they are out.
