The Lone Star State of Texas started the year 2010 with the formation of a new musical group called The Texas Lady Bugs. The group was formed in memory of Texas Music great Big Bill Lister and is composed of some of the greatest female singers that Texas has given to the world.
The members are Katherine Dawn, Ginger Pickett, Susan Taylor, Madge Rashell, Queen B Melinda Day, and Wave Harless. They released their first album called “First Rodeo” to popular acclaim. The album consists of the following songs such as “No Vacancy: “Maybe It’s Me”, “What Kind Of Love”, “Sweet Talkin’ Man”, and “Deep Cold Water”.
The members of the Texas Lady Bugs promised that their music would shake off “what your mama gave you”. The group has managed to keep its promise and the music sounds as a fresh alternative to the already predictable mainstream music scene in the United States of America.
The underwriter discovered the Texas Lady Bugs by accident after stumbling across the webpage of one of his favourite artists Katherine Dawn. He heard samples from “First Rodeo” and the following is a review of the album.

The song “No Vacancy” is heard two times as a radio edit and in its complete version. The song “No Vacancy” was composed by Katherine Dawn and Dawn Hale. It is a song that captures an essence of life when the doors are closed on a person. This is the perception of the underwriter.
Katherine Dawn and Dawn Hale deserve praise for the song “No Vacancy” with its down to earth interpretation. Katherine Dawn also composed “Deep Cold Water” which is destined to be a classic especially with the soulful interpretation by the Texas Lady Bugs.

The Texas Lady Bugs are destined to be one of the groups that left a positive impact with their music. They will be considered The Greatest of the Greats in the World. The album “First Rodeo” will also serve as an inspiration for future Texas artists.
