The French Football Federation has been suspended from its next friendly game against Norway. The suspension occurred at the request of the Laurent Blanc who is the new coach.

The reason for the suspension has been the behavior of the team during the 2010 FIFA World Cup when France lost all of its games. Mr. Blanc states that he has not forgotten the «training strike, and the insult against the coach».

I would like to express my opinion of what has transpired. Laurent Blanc did the right thing in suspending the French Football Team from its next friendly game. When an athlete competes for his or her country, he or she is representing that country.

What transpires within the confines of the team should take a back seat until the end of the game and tournament. What the members of the French Football Team did in the 2010 FIFA World Cup was the worst form of behavior exhibited in a tournament.

It is true that they treated their country and supporters like trash with their unsportsmanlike behavior. It is hoped that the French Football Federation make some changes in their team.

Thierry Henry has signed with the MLS and it is hoped that he remains on his good behaviour. He has to prove that in the future. The same will have to apply for the other members of the French Football/Soccer Team.
