Cruz Azul defetaed Estudiantes de Teco at the opening game of the Mexican League. The victory was made possible by the two goals by Javier Orozco at 2 and 34 minutes for Cruz Azul.
Angel Partida scored the third goal for Cruz Azul at 45 minutes in a game that appeared to be totally dominated by Cruz Azul. During the game, Rogelio Chavez passed the ball to Javier Orozco who kicked the ball into the center and scoring the first goal.
Estudiantes de Tecos were surprised but were unable to recuperate from the shock of the first goal. The same tactic was repeated when Christian Gimenez passed the ball to Javier Orozco who kicked it in the center for a second goal at 34 minutes.
The last goal for Cruz Azul was at 45 minutes by Angel Partida sealed the victory for Cruz Azul. The team now has its first victory and may well advance in the Mexican Laegue as well as the CONCACAF.
