Manchester United has decided that it will choose its newest member Javier Chicharito Hernandez for the UEFA Champions League.
He will be in the same list as other members of Manchester United such as Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Gabriel Oberton, Federico Macheda, and Dimitar Berbatov.
Chicharito Hernandez will also join a long list of other Mexican players who have played or are going to play in the UEFA Champions League.
The list of Mexicans that have or are participating in the UEFA Champions League are or were: Hugo Sanchez, Nery Castillo, Giovani Dos Santos, Carlos Vela, Jonathan Dos Santos, Guillermo Franco, Hector Moreno, Ricardo Osorio, Pavel Pardo, Sergio Almaguer among others.
There have been other Mexican citizens who have participated in the UEFA Champions League such as: Francsico Maza Rodriguez and Francisco Kikin Fonseca. The last two mentioned have been one of the greatest in the UEFA Champions League for Mexico.
Manchester United has been placed in Group C in the UEFA Champions League list. The venerable team from Old Trafford will be competing against Rangers of Scotland, Bursaspor of Turkey, and the Rangers of Scotland.
Manchester United has been given an easy group in which I will predict will be an easy victory over its rivals and advancing to the next phase of this event
I am also willing to predict that Javier Chicharito Hernandez will be the one making history for Mexico and Manchester United.
Chivas of Guadalajara also known as El Rebano faced the Estudiantes de Tecos in their new stadium Estadio Chivas at Zapopan in Mexico. It was an historic moment that every fan of Chivas of Guadalajra will remember. Roberto Garcia Orozco was the referee for the game.
The venerable team known as El Rebano effectively left Estudiantes de Tecos without any points due to the miracle of Omar Bravo, Ricardo Vasquez Gailien, and Marco Fabian De La Mora.
Omar Bravo celebrated his 300th game with Chivas of Guadalajara by using his head to score the first goal of the game in 37 minutes.
Ricardo Vasquez entered from the right side with a kick and the goalie did not react with time as the ball hit the net. The second goal was scored in 74 minutes.
The icing on the cake for Chivas of Guadalajara was when in the last minute of the game, Omar Arellano sent the ball from the right to left to Marco Fabian who kicked the ball towrards the center to score the third and final goal.
Chivas of Guadalajara had some problems within the Mexican League games of 2010-2011 but it was clearly the dominant force in this game. They knew what they were doing and proved themselves to be consistent and organized.
Estudiantes de Tecos were organized but demoralized after the first goal by Omar Bravo. Afterwards, it was downhill as the team actually passed the ball around instead of playing the game.
Roberto Garcia Orozco was fair but firm when he handed out yellow cards to Diego Jimenez of Estudiantes de Tecos as well as Xavier Baez and Mario de Luna Saucedo of Chivas of Guadalajara.
Chivas of Guadalajara 3-0 Estudiantes De Teco
Place: Estadio Chivas at Zapopan, Mexico
Most Valued Player: Omar Bravo for scoring his first goal in his 300th game with El Rebano
