Athens, 2 December 2010 – The Christmas Humanitarian lunch which is traditionally takes place in Athens in early December every year was organized by Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organizationwww.lifelineaid.org at the “Grande Bretagne” Hotel  in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia. The aim of the Humanitarian Lunch is to support the cardiological departments of the children’s Hospital Tirsova in Serbia and the children’s hospital “P.&A. Kyriakou” in Athens.
 
 It was a unique event, organized for the seventh year in a row, which included the participation and support of Greek companies. The Grand Ballroom of Grand Bretagne was magically decorated by Mrs. Emy Trikardos (L’Arte Di Artemide).  The luncheon attendees were welcomed by the President of the Board of Directors of Lifeline Hellas, Mr. Ioannis Trikardos, HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine whose speeches enhanced this event. Her Highness emphasized in her speech the needs of the Serbian hospitals and the meaning and joy of giving. Short speeches addressed also by HE the Serbian Ambassador in Greece, Mr. Zupanjevic and the Head of the cardiological department of the children’s Hospital “P.&A. Kyriakou” Dr. George Papadopoulos .
 
The humanitarian lunch exemplified an exquisite entertainment program, performed by the talented jazz group “Turning Blue” . A special film depicting the humanitarian work of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and the needs of the cardiological department in Tirsova children hospital was also projected.
 
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization supports people in need in Serbia and Greece.

Kyriakou” Dr. George Papadopoulos, Dr. Chrysanthy Routzouni, members of Lifeline Hellas Board, Mrs Emi Tricardos, Mr. Dimitris Paraskevas, Mr. Evgenios Pierris, Mrs. Maria Kontou, Mrs. Nada Geroulanos, Mrs. Fleur Potamianou. Also attending the charity Mr. and Mrs. George Davlas, Mrs. Karolina Malamatina.
