Belgrade, 10 January 2011 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine together with His Grace Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac, hosted today at the White Palace the traditional Christmas receptions for children from all over Serbia without parental care, children with special needs, Roma children, refugee and internally displaced children.

The children enjoyed themselves and played with entertainer Pedjolino and Cigra Animators, and received various presents from the Royal Couple, provided by numerous donors from Greece and Serbia: Coca Cola HBC, Kika Loznica-socks , Adra, Paracinka Paracin ad, Al Grosso, Rio Valjevo, Pionir ad, Mogyi Trade, Labyrinth d.o.o, Cokolend ad, Ishrana produkt, Dexy Co, Slatka kuca-Novi Sad, „Mala Moda Marija“, Hra company, Zacharias company, Star company, Vendras company, Iliohamogelo school, Hasbro company, Antenna group, Sklavenitis Super Market, Lapin house, Much, King toys, Mrs. Frida Tsakiroglou.

Also present were donors from Greece Mr. Nikolaos Konstantas, Mrs. Kaliroy Apostolidou and Mr. Patroklos Kiousis, and Mr. Gerard and Mrs. Maja Le Roux from Serbia.

More than 1200 children ages 3 to 12, had the opportunity to feel and share the joy of Christmas with Their Royal Highnesses.

The first reception was organized for the children without parental care from Belgrade, Pancevo and Sremska Kamenica, Roma children from Belgrade, Valjevo, Ripanj and Kostolac, as well as children of victims of war from Novi Beograd and Vozdovac and children of the Association of Egyptian minorities.

The second reception was organized for children with disabilities from Belgrade, Nis, Vranje, Subotica, Kovin and Schools for Children with developmental problems from Belgrade.

The third reception was organized for children without parental care from Nis, Aleksinac, Sombor, Negotin, Nova Crnja, Uzice, Kragujevac, Roma and socially disadvantaged children from Ada, Vojvodina and children from refugee camp from Bujanovac.

Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine together with His Grace Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac welcomed the children, wishing them all the best for Christmas and the New Year.
