The match between the US and Egyptian Football [Soccer] Team has been cancelled indefinitely. The reason is the recent problems affecting Egypt.

The cancellation was announced by the President of the US Soccer Federation Sunil Gulati. Mr. Gulati explained that after discussions with the State Department and the Egyptian Football Federation, the only option was to suspend the match.

Mr. Gulati thanked the State Department and the Egyptian Football Federation for their efforts.
