Jessica Rae: «Jessica Rae» Album Review

Jessica Rae is on tour promoting her music with “Stories With Strings”. She is promoting her new album titled “Jessica Rae”.

The inspiration for the album originates from the heart, mind, and soul of the living angel from Chicago, Illinois who lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Jessica Rae”

The album starts with the song “There Is No Grey” is lively with the guitar and vocals of the singer. The song itself is great and leaves a message [in my opinion] of the reality of a purpose in life. It deals with being masters of destiny by the Grace of God. There is nothing in the middle.

The second song “24 Hour Church” was is inspired by a conversation between Jessica Rae and an individual who was in need of help. The song talks about how the individual found salvation from drugs and alcohol in a Church in Memphis.

The song itself sends a powerful message to those who feel their lives are hopeless. The message is that hope exists for those with destroyed lives.

The third song in the CD “Whisky Won’t Care” is in C Major with the beautiful voice of Jessica Rae playing the guitar. The song deals with people dealing with loss of love with alcohol.

It is a song of reflection on how alcohol does not resolve the loss of a love. It challenges the person to look within him or herself to get over the hurt without the use of alcohol or drugs.

The underwriter once heard the song “Down” when undergoing a personal crisis. The crisis itself dealt with the loss of a loved one and the hurt could not go away.

The lyrics and melody of “Down” inspired the underwriter to reflect on the hurt and attempt to let go. The underwriter went to a church inspired by “Down” and thought of the positive things in his life.

The rest of what transpired after the song “Down” inspired the underwriter to try new opportunities to grow. “Down” itself is a gem with the sincere angelic interpretation of Jessica Rae.

“Fallin In Love (Shouldn’t Be Like This) is another sincere song which deals with love and falling in love. The thoughts addressed are about love and its effect on people.

“In The Morning” is another love song that talks about the feelings and experience of a couple. The song itself praises falling in love without the use of demeaning words as seen in the mainstream media.

“I Hate Love” reminded the underwriter of the song “Down” secondary to the same hurt. It reminds people of how love can hurt as well as help people.

The underwriter received the same inspiration to mend his life after hearing it. He concluded that there was a need to define love differently since there are different types of love such as Love of God.

The melody “Criminal” reminded the underwriter of the time he was in Spain. The reason is the flamenco style rhythm of the song. The melody itself shows the international versatility of Jessica Rae.

“Memories On Me” is another sincere song concerning the daily lives of people. The song “Between Sundaes” discusses the week. The underwriter can relate to this since Monday and Tuesday for him are blah days.

The only exception is when he plays a Jessica Rae CD in the car or at work. “I Could Get Used To This” is becoming the most popular song in the album.

“I Could Get Used To This” was popularized in The Country Network. The song deals with the need of women to feel protected and nurtured. It also talks about how men should be in touch with the feelings of their friends and family members of the opposite sex.

“Make You Miss Me” is another song that deals with people taking others for granted. The result is that it is too late when the person leaves. What is my opinion of “Jessica Rae” by Jessica Rae?
