Roberto,
A few hours ago, we closed the monthly writer competition in the B/R Real Madrid community. After crunching the final numbers, I’m pleased to pass along a piece of very good news: You’ve earned the place award for May 2011.
As you may already know, B/R’s sport-specific Writer Leaderboards rank authors on the basis of accumulated article reads during a given calendar month. As a reward for finishing at the top of this month’s heap, you’ll receive…
(1) a «Top Writer» badge on your B/R profile page; (2) a month-long place of honor on the Writer Leaderboard page; and (3) the prestige and visibility that goes along with having distinguished yourself within a community of talented and passionate writers.
More than anything else, I want congratulate you on your achievement and thank you for your efforts. It’s standouts like you who’ve helped turn the B/R Writer Program into the exclusive club that it is today, and the example you’ve set for your peers will help all of us work towards our goal of cementing B/R’s reputation as the Web’s most entertaining source of reputable sports news and analysis. So…please pat yourself on the back on my behalf in recognition of a job well done.
As always, don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions as you continue to build your B/R portfolio—and good luck to you as you defend your title by publishing more world-class content in the month ahead.
Rooting for a repeat performance,
Joe
