Hello friend!

So I was clearing out brush leading to a secret waterfall last week and picked up a new friend… her name is poison ivy and we became quite attached very quickly.  She is on her way out now and I’m left happy and inspired as ever, soaking in sunshine and music and lots of joyfulness (and pink calamine lotion). 

Flying this Thursday to CALIFORNIA to play house concerts (yippee!), a festival in NEVADA (woo!), and a big outdoor concert in Los Angeles!  Then eastbound to NEW YORK CITY for a concert at the World Financial Center Plaza, followed by NPR’s MOUNTAIN STAGE (yes yes yes!) in WEST VIRGINIA with… John Oates!  Pinch me!

Would love to see you, and your friends and pets and neighbors.  Last week I was a big introvert and got all my looking inward out, now I’m in full-blown friend mode.  Come play!

The Accidental Extravaganza @ Rockwood Music Hall www.accidentalextravaganza.com has become nothing less than ridiculous.  The sound and videos turned out amazing thanks to Modern Vintage and Rockwood, they will be available free to you in 3 weeks… there is also an option to donate with all proceeds going to a *very* cool non-profit organization to be announced.  Featuring collaborations with Adam Levy, J Blynn, Nate Campany, Ian Axel, Jason Mraz, Adam Levy, The Paper Raincoat, Alex Wong, Rosi Golan, J Blynn, Jeff Taylor, The Animators, Lisa Jaeggi, Paul Brill and Threeds!  Holymolywow.  So grateful to my friends for being such humongo-inspirations.

Jason Reeves www.jasonreeves.com and I got to record our pretty little duet «City Starts to Bloom» in Nashville together a few days ago.  Can’t wait for you to hear it, it’s on the new album which is being mixed right now by Jacquire King!  Oh!
