Deann Rene Is Not Crying Today

I received a package from Deann Rene in which she told me that she is Not Crying Today. The maiden album from the Queen and Diva of Texas, Southern, and American Rock Music is packed with electricity, raw energy, and the painful truth.

Deann Rene contributed to all of the electricity with a little help from Jason Lively [of Jason and Vanessa Lively] who produced the album. What can be said about the album?

The music is electrifying and deals with situations in Ms. Rene’s life and is raw emotion. I compared Deann Rene’s album with Adele’s first album and Ms. Rene’s is superior.

All of the songs are composed an interpreted with majesty by her. The song “Heartbreak” deals with love loss after betrayal from the lover.

It starts soft and then increases in tempo as Deann Rene talks about pain and suffering. It deals with the lies and lack of responsibility in a relationship that reached beyond the breaking point.

An example of beyond the breaking point was mentioned in “Heartbreak”. This is a case when one person dominates [or attempts to] dominate his or her significant other.

The song Carry Me is another electrifying song that deals with a person asking for help. The result is that the person wanting help never receives it.

The song Butterflies is another song with the soft edge beginning but moving with electricity. It deals with the hurt and anger that the singer and others experienced in life.

In the song, Ms. Rene talks about the past and how love went wrong. It deals with a love that left fear and refuses to die.

The underwriter can understand what happens since he experienced it as well. Ain’t It Enough is a song that deals with injustice from a former partner to the singer.

Ms. Rene says in the song that there should be a stop to the injustice. Andrew is a song that Ms. Rene dedicates to her son which is her pride and joy.

Andrew is a song that symbolizes a positive relationship between mother and child. The title song Not Crying Today symbolizes a determination to survive against all odds.

You’re Gonna Lose is another great song with describes a woman who was abused by her husband. The response of the woman [or abused partner] is to criticize the former spouse of being a momma’s boy, vindictive, and destructive in nature.

After hearing the song, I could only imagine that Ms. Rene must have been talking about her life. I could never fathom that there are people who could do something like that.

You’re Gonna Lose is one of the songs that deserves top publicity in Not Crying Today. Tonight is a song that evokes a positive image and reaction. New Song is transitional in nature.

The last song River Song is another excellent song from Deann Rene. At a time when singers are doing soda pop plastic rock, Deann Rene does real down to earth rock music.

It is Deann Rene’s music [along with many artists from Texas and beyond] that keeps America going. Deann Rene is Not Crying Today because her album receives five stars or 100% in this album review.

For real music, but Deann Rene’s Not Crying Today and/or go see her live in concert. It is an unforgettable experience to hear her on CD, You Tube, and live.
