2:54am and I have no desire to fall asleep. Too excited and my sweet little Gibson is quite the talkative one tonight. Life is magical. I’m loving the process of writing, enough that the finished song is more like a bonus than the point.

So many amazing and dreamy things coming up, not sure where to start. Think I’ll revive my blog to express the fullness of it in little breaths. So for now, I’ll keep it short. News on my new album (eeeeee!!) very soon (it will get its very own email). I want to highlight the NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES concerts just added, they are very special. I had already bought two tickets for the NYC show because I was planning on sitting up front wide-eyed for Ethan Johns… then Rockwood asked me today if I’d open. Played it cool and wrote back «sure» while screaming and jumping up and down. A living legend in the producer world. Similar story for LA, Nicholas David (if you watched The Voice you most likely fell in love with him on CeeLo Green’s team) invited me to open for him at the beautiful El Rey Theatre August 14th. He is spectacular, and I’m so very honored. Also we just added my favorite upstate New York benefit concert, the 10th Anniversary Rock for the River with Jay Nash, Joe Purdy, Garrison Starr & Eliza Moore.
