Dear friends,
 
You can read this because you are «connected.»  The internet and all of the services it provides keep many people connected to family, friends and even strangers. Few of us fully understand the inner workings of this connectivity. However; we keep taking advantage of all of its benefits.  Thinking about all of this made me realize how important it is for humans to connect to the source of all life. Most of us have very limited understanding of God, yet we all desperately need to stay connected.  Scripture tells us that In Christ we have the perfect intermediary. We read: «Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.» (Heb. 7:25)  I am glad that we have modern technology that helps us to stay connected. The human spirit needs other ways to tap into the eternal where we find the ground of all being. The fast  pace of life we experience keeps us internet connected but disconnected spiritually. Even my car is connected to the manufacturer’s big computer as I drive it. We need to slow down and make sure our hearts and souls are in tune with the One who makes us truly human.
