Colin Kaepernick made a lot of news with his decision on the National Anthem of the USA. He has a right to his decision as I have a right to invite people to boycott his products and those of the SF 49ers.

REASONS IN A BOTTLE OR CAPSULE

While people have a right to their own opinion, there are times and places to express them without using a sporting event as a forum. This athlete chose to mix politics and sports at a time when people go to football matches to escape the tensions of everyday life.

Those who attend spend their hard earned money to see matches instead of receiving political lectures from an athlete whose salary is superior to all professions combined. The same would have applied when mixing sports with religion.

In every sporting event in the world, the national anthem of that country is played and respected regardless of personal opinions. It is a sporting tradition that starts matches all over the world.

Imagine a Kaepernick living in another society. It would be over career wise in a second.

Let us send a message to the NFL so that they and the SF 49ers could take appropriate action. This is not against the team and organization, this is about keeping sports separate from politics.
