Linda Hegwood deserves to be Personality of the Year 2016 for Radio Romania International. The International Singer Songwriter from Puerto Rico recorded songs in English “Kingdom Come” and in Spanish “Mi Amigo” as testimony to the Universal Love of God towards humanity.

Ms. Hegwood is also a survivor of cancer as evidenced in her song “Mi Amigo” [My Friend] written during her battle against this dreadful disease. When others lose faith and hope after being diagnosed with cancer, Linda Hegwood fought the battle of cancer head on and refused to surrender.

As a result, her body was free from Cancer. In addition to her struggles against cancer, Ms. Hegwoods songs have served as an inspiration for a world who hungers for peace through the Lord in spite of obstacles imposed by the cruellest elements of humanity.

We need more voices like that of Ms. Hegwood’s to promote the peace and freedom that comes from accepting Jesus Christ as a personal Saviour. It would be a blessing if Radio Romania International were to bestow its award on this great singer songwriter.
