Laura Marie : A Personal Reflection (THE AG NEWS SHOW)

We are reaching a point in today’s America in which people want to resolve their differences with violence. Many who were once couples or friends (as well as family) are turning against each other secondary to perceived insults based on difference of opinions.

We seem to lack compassion and love for even the less fortunate. It is a sad state of affairs that leaves the underwriter asking the question of How Far Will This Lead Us? with no definite answer except for the increase in polarization and hatred.

Jesus Christ once said «Blessed Are The Peacemakers during his «Sermont On The Mount» and I think of one person. Her name is Laura Marie and she is a Singer Songwriter from Texas whose message for peace resonates across America and the world as a logical successor to Bob Dylan and Joan Baez.

Laura Marie challenges us to «Be Love» and embrace all that is positive in this world. It is more than just words to sing or preach but actually living it as well as implementing it in real life.

Laura Marie has reinforced her belief by practicing «Be Love» and even encouraging those in her native Texas to participate in the political process by voting for a change into a society that cares as well as loves. She has reinforced these beliefs in interviews talking about unconditional love, in a song about the situation in Syria (in her album The Season) and one of her biggest hits «Love You Like Me» and «Good Enough».

It is not an easy task but it is needed in these critical times. It is hoped that people will purchase Laura Marie’s albums (not only to help Independent artists or to listen for pleasure) in order to listen to the words of peace, love, and justice as well as implementing them in our daily lives with the intention of creating a domino effect on culture as well as society.

Keep up the great work LM
