Foot bone connected to the heel bone

Heel bone connected to the ankle bone

Ankle bone connected to the shin bone

Shin bone connected to the knee bone

Knee bone connected to the thigh bone

Thigh bone connected to the hip bone

 

The first page of the Miami Herald exhibited Ms. Deb Riechmann’s, article “Anatomy of the phone call imperiling Trump presidency”, which enticed me to read, even cognizant of the paper’s overt partisan leanings.    She highlighted ten words that promised proof of an impeachable offense.    After general information about the process involving presidential calls, she started her “anatomy” of the call.    The connection of the toe bone to the foot bone that started the conversation, though not exact was fairly represented.    Then she showed her real intentions by connecting the foot bone to the thigh bone, totally misrepresenting the call and in my view delegitimizing her article, having the skeleton fall in pieces and receiving an F in anatomy.

To wit;

She said the next ten words that triggered the house impeachment inquiry “I would like you to do us a favor though”.    Immediately following she writes “Trump asked Selenskiy to work with Rudy Giuliani and Barr to look at Biden and his son”.    Why the MSM continues to quote a transcript that is readily available falsely is beyond me.    Here is what came after “do us a favor”;

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. 

No mention of Giuliani, or the Biden’s.    The writers ignorance or purposely misrepresentation was enough for me to stop reading.

To remind people, Ukraine’s president then talked at length about his cooperation with our country, fighting corruption, and mentioning Giuliani.    Then at the end of a prolonged tirade Trump mentioned;

 The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it.

One thing comes to mind, if the pundits, media, and politicians believe that the call’s transcript is proof oh high crimes and misdemeanors why do they continue misquoting it?    And why congressman Schiff did not read it in his opening statement instead of the false narrative he called a parody?    Parody in such an important step as reversing the will of the people?

Give me a break!!
