A religious spirit has been unleashed. This devil is beating church leaders down to a docile lump. Preachers who once stood against sin and persecution, are letting the Bride of Christ turn into the battered wife of the State.

The ban on singing in church is both wholly illegal and unenforceable. Disobeying it is a no-brainer. But many preachers can’t even draw the line here. Read this giddy and submissive letter to church members from a Spirit-filled denomination that has over 1,300 churches in California:

“We will worship this Sunday without singing our praise to God. We were strongly encouraged by our ____________ denominational head to follow the strictest guidelines which in California has a ban on singing. Thank you for your understanding. We trust we will be able to sing in worship to God soon.”
