Okay, as always here at Independent Voter site Balladeer’s BlogI find it humbling when overseas readers pay me the compliment of asking me to explain, in non-partisan terms, the cesspool of corruption called America’s political system. ONE: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED THAT DAY WOULD HAVE SOMEHOW MADE DONALD TRUMP THE WINNER OF THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. This is crucial. It doesn’t matter if you support Trump or hate him, NOTHING that might have happened in Congress on January 6th could have «overturned the 2020 election.»
