LEARNING HOW TO TALK

In the old yard

strangers

summer diluted in a glass of iced water

on our limbs forgotten

upon sunburned brows

summer breaking

900 people sitting

900 ladybug dropping like kidneys

sweat dripping from our hair

tears dripping from the ripen fruit

Arms and limbs thrashing in the sky. Slashing the sunlight

Me chewing on a piece of the morning like molten metal

the tip of my tongue swollen

salty with the Sun

redraw

the words of tyrants like metal pellets

glowing red amber for the last 100 years

in a coal cauldron of the old dumb blacksmith

banging on a sickle

Death placing an order of 4 million scythe

beheading the nodding sleepy wheat blooms

on the Basin

alluvium waters

copper drum

endless wind at the foot of…
