1. Yes, I’ve heard from people who have friends or relatives there. We don’t have it much better here, but at least the Jewish Federation came up with a grant that funds security at Jewish schools and places of worship. It’s not pleasant, though, when the first person who greets you when you come for services is an armed security guard.
