The Cuban American RINO’s

So, last week, on April 6th, I wrote an article / letter addressed to Ms. Maria Elena de Valle, in response to a comment made to me in my previous article, and, for the first time ever since I have been writing here in Facebook, I had someone write a personal insult – one that transcends the very basic principles of respect for other’s opinions, which has become sort of a preferred way to try and get their point across by all those that are suffering from the Trump derangement syndrome – both democrats and republicans alike.

If you look at the comments section of the above-referred article, you will note that Rafael Montalvo made the following comment “Obie, some SOB [Son of a Bitch], signed your name to this letter insulting a good, smart woman….” Montalvo’s sarcasm was insulting and cowardly. Let me preface my comments by saying, this Montalvo is not and never has been my friend. We happened to be neighbors when I lived in Gables by the Sea where he lives, and that was the extend of our acquaintance.

As he disrespected my dead mother in this cowardly comment, I figure I answered it. To begin with, this is the second time around that Mr. Montalvo, acts like the defense attorney on behalf of Maria de Valle, with whom I have had a couple of encounters in the past on comments she has made. It appears to me that Montalvo must suffer from a “Quixotic” complex as he continues to come in Ms. De Valle’s defense – the latter unable to answer for herself, I guess.

Anyways, some time back, in yet another of Montalvo’s comments he refers to Donald Trump as “an asshole”. Wonder who the real asshole and the real SOB is? To my point, I want to be very clear here, first, I honestly could not care less about Trump haters, like Montalvo and/or U.S. haters as Ms. De Valle. We happen to live in a democracy and both of them are entitled to whatever political opinion is it that they cherish. What I cannot understand or accept is that just because we have a difference in a political opinion you have resort to calling someone an SOB.

Many of these Trump-haters, are like our RINO’s in Congress our own worst enemies, thus our continued failures as a Republican Party. Democrats, be whatever they may be, but they stick together like glue. Republicans, on the other hand, can rarely unite and rally behind their Party such as it is now happening with Trump’s proposed “Big beautiful bill.”

As far as Montalvo’s attack, this is yet one more example of why we are still here in exile after sixty-six years. Yes, there is a lot of garbage in our exile backyard. There are, amongst us, many Cuban Americans that pretend to be righteous, yet they act in a way to where they continue to betray the very basic democratic principles granted us by our 1st Amendment, in our freedom of speech rights, such as I did with Ms. De Valle’s letter.

The fact that Montalvo participated in our honorable 2506 Brigade, does not, I repeat, does not give him the right to call anyone an SOB, for taking issue with another Cuban American who suggested that the U.S. is altogether a worthless nation due its past in dealing with women’s and Black’s rights.

As a matter of record only, I stand by my answer given to Ms. De Valle. To Montalvo, screw you for the personal insult. I think the only real SOB and the only real asshole here is you.
