A HISTORICAL WEEK BY OBIE USATEGUI

A Historical Week

Must say, this has been a historical week for this nation. It all began last Saturday with Operation Midnight Hammer, as we obliterated Iran’s major nuclear sites, ironically followed by a cease-fire between Israel and Iran that ended the so-called “12-day war.” In this week’s NATO summit in the Netherlands, President Trump made it possible for all the nations except Spain to raise their spending on the military from 3% of their GDP to 5 percent by 2035. The stock market’s prices soared, and gasoline reached an all-time low in three years. As if all this was not enough, on Friday, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo signed a peace deal brokered by the United States, ending a devastating conflict between these two neighbors and potentially granting the U.S. lucrative mineral access.

Now, if all of these do not earn Trump the Nobel Peace Prize, I do not what will. While I do believe that this week changed the world for a better place for all humanity, I still think [the] most momentous victory for Trump came yesterday by way of two U.S. Supreme Court rulings, one destined to change Trump’s ability to implement his MAGA agenda and the other giving parental rights over their children.

I refer specifically to the Court’s ruling to limit the use of nationwide injunctions by rogue federal district court judges that were on a crusade to prevent Trump from implementing many of his proposed changes as first committed to in his presidential campaign and a ruling that allows parents to opt out of schools that promote transgenderism ideals.

My friends, let me tell you, given the circumstances, I personally feel that the 6 to 3 ruling by the Supreme Court on limiting injunctions by all the liberal lower courts has to be one if not [the] most consequential and most transcendental events in Donald Trump’s short presidency – bar none. Vis-à-vis, had the court not ruled as they did, most all of Trump’s Executive Orders would have been blocked and tied-up in legal battles that could take months, even years – scarry thought to say the least. Congress should even consider adding the date of June 27th as another national holiday.

Another present given yesterday to the American people was the Supreme Court ruling in favor of parents who wished to opt their children out of public schools that conflict with their religious beliefs. The case was brought by a group of Christian, Muslim and Jewish parents from Montgomery County in Maryland, seeking a guaranteed exemption from the classroom of children reading Woke DEI storybooks with LGBTQ themes including but not limited to themes about drag queens, pride parades, biological sex changes and all those sick agendas that democrats have been trying to push in their “destroy America crusades.”

Before closing this narrative, it is worth mentioning that both rulings by the Supreme Court were 6 to 3 and followed along party lines. On the limiting of injunctions, the majority opinion was written by Justice Amy Coney Barrett, which, as far as I am concerned, came as a pleasant surprise as Justice Coney Barrett, a conservative appointed by Trump, had been voting with liberals to where I thought Trump had made a big mistake in choosing her. Not only did Amy Coney Barret come through this time around, but she also made judicial history as she eviscerated Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s on the latter’s dissenting opinion.

Coney Barrett vociferously accused her colleague Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson of taking an extremist position on the role of the judiciary branch of government. Coney Barrett went as far as saying that “We would not dwell on Justice Jackson’s arguments which decried an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary” – hence the equivalent of characterizing Jackson’s dissent as legally worthless.” Kudos to Coney Barrett.

Anyways, I think it has been quite a while since I was as optimistic as I am today about the future of this nation with all that transpired this week. I must be honest, if you think about it, Donald Trump, singlehandedly almost, has not only changed our nation in the undeniable path of destruction where we were headed under the Marxist Democrats, but again, if you really think about it, Donald Trump is changing the world. He is promoting peace through strength as proved by his audacious bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities. He has changed the world’s economy with his tariff policies. He has sent a subliminal message to every nation in the face of the earth that the U.S. is back – that the U.S. is the world’s greatest nation and has brought back all the respect that democrats gave away during the four worst years of presidency in the history of America.

Every decent American, every American that loves his birthland and every one that was lucky to become an American citizen, we all should be grateful, thankful, indebted to our Creator for giving us a Donald Trump and for letting this man Make America and The World Great Again. God save us and God save the United States of America.
