In Memoriam – Charlie Kirk

For the last twenty-four hours since I first heard the news about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, I could not bring myself to sit down and write about this, one of [the] most heinous crimes I have ever witnessed. For many of us, yes, we have been impacted by other political assassinations such as was the killing of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, 1963, yet, for many reasons, the assassination of 32-year-old Charlie Kirk has to be one of [the] most impacting, most touching, most affecting ever – bar none.

The fact that Charlie’s life was taken at his tender age of 32, the public pictures of his wife Erika, their now fatherless 3-year-old daughter and 1 year old son are but are all but a mosaic of grief showing, once again, the sickness, the evilness, the wickedness that we have become in this new United States of America.

Charlie Kirk, to me, is the epitome of a martyr who made the ultimate sacrifice championing conservative values in this new America where Marxist Democrats have long been trying to upend those values for which Charlie Kirk made the ultimate sacrifice. The fact that one of us was willing to take down Charlie, just goes to show the world that the Democrat’s rhetoric, their hate-filled vitriol over the past twenty years, has brought out the worse in some of us.

I don’t mind saying that, in the last two days, I have shed some tears, don’t know over which emotion more, sadness or anger – both maybe. I am sorry to say, but, from my perspective every single democrat in this nation shares some of the blame in what happened to Charlie. All you democrats have some blood in your hands as everyone of you made it possible for the assassin to pull the trigger that ended Charlie’s life – and I do not say this facetiously, I mean it.

Anyways, I know Charlie’s death was not in vain. The name of Charlie’s organization is fittingly known as “Turning Point USA”, ironically, Charlie’s death, his legacy, will in fact be a “Turning Point” in this nation as, from this day on, Charlie’s conservative ideals, the ones on which this great nation was founded upon will rise in ways we have never seen before. Charlie’s voice will live forever. From wherever he may be, his place next to God, Charlie will continue to guide us, to lead us, to make us better as human beings. Charlie’s light will forever serve as our beacon of hope and renewed faith in the future of this nation. God bless Charlie Kirk. Long-live his dream. Charlie, you did not die in vain. We will miss you forever and thank you for all you did for this nation. You will forever live in our hearts. God bless you and God bless the United States of America.
