To all my friends, followers:

Case you are wondering why I have not been writing my customary political blogs here on Facebook, on September 6th, after four surgical procedures, I was diagnosed as having cancer in my throat. On the positive side, doctors are rather confident that I might be saved with treatment as it still in “stage 1” I am being treated by the best of the best at the University of Miami Cancer Research Center.

Besides being in great doctor’s hands, I am in the hands of God who can cure everything. I am staying positive and, again, have all the faith in the world that, somehow, I will get through this with God’s Divine Intervention. Meantime, I do want to thank all those that knew about it and have me in their prayers. God bless you all and thank you for your continued support.

Caso que se hayan preguntado el por que no he estado escribiendo mis acostumbradas narrativas políticas aquí en Facebook, el pasado 6 de septiembre, después de cuatro intervenciones quirúrgicas, me diagnosticaron un cáncer de la garganta. No obstante, el grupo de doctores de la Universidad de Miami que me atienden se sienten optimistas y confiados que me podrán salvar la vida en cuanto a la enfermedad esta en Etapa 1. Por cierto, mi Team de médicos es lo mejor de lo mejor del Centro de Cáncer de la Universidad de Miami.

Aparte de estar en muy buenas manos de doctores, mas que nada, estoy en manos de Dios quien todo lo cura. Estoy positivo y, de nuevo, tengo toda la fe del mundo en que, de alguna manera, podre atravesar este momento con la intervención Divina de Dios. Entretanto, si quería darle las gracias a todos los que ya sabían de mi enfermedad y están haciendo oraciones por mí. Dios los bendiga a todos, muy agradecido por todo el apoyo moral y espiritual recibido.
