REAL MADRID WANTS CRISTIANO RONALDO

Real Madrid announces its intention to pay over $102 Million Dollars for Cristiano Ronaldo. While Old Trafford, Real Madrid, and Ronaldo have not commented this new development; this has been confirmed by Press TV Sports and the AS Sports Magazine.

It appears that Real Madrid President Calderon was inspired by AC Milan’s intention of keeping Kaka on their team. Business in Football is always like a chess game in which the Clubs move players from one team to another. This chess game does not bode well at times for football clubs and players but is an inevitable part of the globalizing trends in football.

It is a situation that will leave almost all parties involved happy. Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed a desire to play in the Spanish League and Real Madrid wants him. The only problem is the contract between Ronaldo and Old Trafford which expires in the year 2012.

I am puzzled by this turn of events except that if Ronaldo wants to leave, he should be allowed to. My questions for the readers are:

1. Is Cristiano Ronaldo under obligation to remain at Old Trafford until 2012?

2. Will Cristiano Ronaldo suffer the same fate as David Beckham when he left Real Madrid for the Los Angeles Galaxy?

Parece que el Presidente de Real Madrid Calderon recibio inspiracion de la decision de AC Milan en retener los servicios del jugador Kaka.

Es una propuesta garantizada para hacer feliz a Cristiano Ronaldo pues el quiere jugar en la Liga Espa~nola, Real Madrid estara contenta con las noticias pues recibiran un jugador superestrella. La unica inconveniencia seria Old Trafford. El Contrato de Ronaldo con Old Trafford se vence en el 2012.
