Woody and Wilcox of radio station KBFX in Anchorage Alaska were suspended by the station after insulting Alaska Native Women. It was during their programme dedicated to what constitutes an Alaska Native in which Woody and Wilcox stated that “A Real Alaskan would make Love to the Yukon River and Urinate on an Alaska Native”. While KBFX apologized and announced that Woody and Wilcox will undergo sensitivity training, the State Government of Alaska and the FCC are looking into the matter which has been seen as far worse than the comments by Don Imus.

I have lived here in Anchorage for about 41 years and have listened to there show at times (when it made since) and have never heard them say anything like that or even close to it.
I beleave they were just caught up in the moment and was not thinking, we all do it, only human, yet it was a mistake that cost them there job.There have been other stations that have used this type of radio DJ talk and yet to have had this happen. I am glad somone stepped up and said somthing about this.
Now how about some of the other stations? Sure hope this is a lesson to them all.
