29-April-2008: According to the Zimbabwe Situation and Nyasa Times of Malawi, the Government of Malawi sent four people: Clement Kapalamula [Head of Secret Intelligence Services], Mr. George Masinga [Acting Director of Foreign Relations], and Mr. Matanga to Angola to see if they could transport the arms in the boat An Yie Jiang from Angola to Zimbabwe. They are acting with the blessing of the President of Malawi Bingu Mutharika who is a supporter of Mugabe. Meanwhile, there have been reports by the Times Correspondent in Murewa of the Zimbabwe Health Ministry and certain Health Care Professionals collaborating with ZANU-PF [Mugabe] in the raids on hospitals against patients who are with the MDC.

I am a Malawian who really doubt the credibility of this story. The news source you got this story from is Nyasa Times which is clearly an anti-government online paper setup by one Thom Chiumia based in London. Thom Chiumia is a criminal who fled Malawi due to crimes he has to answer in court in Malawi. He has falsely claimed political refuge in UK. He is writing these stories to justify his stay in the UK because he knows that the law n Malawi awaits to take its course on this idiot. After all, he is not even a qualified journalist. Pliz check qualifications of your news sources first before you start publishing such malicious and unverified stories. I am of the view that Thom Chiumia is doing this deliberately to spoil the good relationship Dr Bingu wa Mutharika has with the West.
