Jessica Simpson [A Personal Reflection]

I have decided to write about Jessica Simpson after hearing her sing and act many times. While I will commend her on her new song which deals with abuse, I do not think she is a real singer and a real actress. Again this is a personal opinion and based on what I have seen of her in the internet, movies, and music. All I can say is that if I had to choose between Jessica Simpson or Amanda Cunningham’s’ rendition of «Bad Ass Woman» that I heard in Radio Free Texas, I would choose Amanda Cunningham.

I compared Jessica Simpson’s rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” with Beyonce’s rendition of the same song which is the National Anthem of the United States of America. Beyonce had a rendition which was full of soul and creativity compared to the rendition by Jessica Simpson which sounded like an attempt to be the real thing while in fact, she was not.

Jessica Simpson does not earn positive points from me for her classless rendition of «These Boots Were Made For Walking» while trashing an American Institution called «The Dukes of Hazard». I have never forgotten nor have I forgiven Jessica Simpson for making Daisy Duke look like a prostitute whose goal is to have men and dump them. Her degradation of the Dukes of Hazard was proof of the fact that she is not the real thing in singing and acting. In fact, Jessica Simpson should have apologized to the original cast of the Dukes of Hazard for trashing such a great institution with her artificial singing and acting. She should also do penance in front of Waylon Jennings’s tombstone for her destruction of The Dukes of Hazard.

Jessica Simpson’s Duet with Marc Antony [A Singer from New York] titled: «There You Were» [in the Album Irritable] was nothing more than a so called country pop combination concocted by the conglomerate recording companies in order to promote the mediocre singing careers of both artists. Marc Antony and Jessica Simpson actually sang the song like if they were suffering from constipation. Regardless, the singing was a total gas [in other words, a failure]. Her song «Come On Over» reminds me of a screaming woman who is trying to sing but does not know what to do.

Jessica Simpson recorded a Christmas Album which trashed most of the beloved Christmas Carols in the history of the Christian World. Her interpretation of Christmas Carols did not sound like a devotion to the Baby Jesus. Her interpretation sounded like the “Me” Generation in which everything was centered around Jessica Simpson.

I consider Jessica Simpson one of the worst singers because her voice is not the real thing. It is another Hollywood Creation which was the product of a reality show detailing her inner life. I hope she improves with her new song about abusive relationships but that remains to be seen.
