AMY TRYON DISQUALIFIED FROM THE OLYMPICS AND IS DISGRACED

After reading what many critics have said about Amy Tryon and the US Equestrian Olympic Team, I have decided to investigate Le Samurai and what happened to Le Samurai. While investigating Le Samurai, the underwriter received news from the Seattle Times which reported that Amy Tryon was disqualified. I looked for a second opinion and it was Travis Pittman of KING 5.com who confirmed what has just happened. AMY TRYSON HAS BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM THE OLYMPICS!!!!!! For those who want to say that this is a late report, it is better that this news gets publicity during the Olympics.

It occurred when Amy Tryon fell off her horse Poggio II during the portion of the Eventing Competition called Cross Country. After falling off the horse, Amy Tryon was able to walk on her own and Poggio II did not have problems. It is the understanding of the author that when this happens; and when rider and horse cannot or are unable to complete the course, there is an automatic disqualification. The USA Olympic Equestrian Team [otherwise known as Team USA] was in third place and what Amy Tryon has done was add penalty points to the United States of America.

Before continuing on my response to the news, I also looked at the Le Samurai Video and the article that appeared in Equisearch.com and the Horse Channel about Le Samurai being euthanized. This news had left the underwriter in shock because he did not see the news segment. I saw the video and it was a disgrace what has happened. What happened to Le Samurai could not be mentioned in this article. For those who say I am not an expert in what I write, I try to be objective in my writing. I remember visiting horse farms in Ohio and Venezuela and knew a girl who was an Equestrian. In the same way an article about Amy Tryon, her life, and her times can be written; her disgrace has to be documented. The fact that she was able to receive light punishment for Le Samurai is unfair to others who are Equestrians and lovers of animals.

Amy Tryon deserved her disqualification for falling from Poggio II. Amy Tryon has also disgraced the United States Olympic Equestrian Team with her lackluster performance and the Le Samurai Incident. The United States Olympic Equestrian Team also made an error in judgment when they accepted Amy Tryon. While this is not an attempt to pass judgment on Amy Tryon, the fact that she performed poorly on Poggio II and that there was an accident with Le Samurai leaves the writer with an attempt to find an answer to many burning questions. What was Team USA thinking? Was Amy Tryon thinking in her mind about Le Samurai? How is Poggio II doing? Will Poggio II receive an evaluation from a Veterinarian? Is there a link between Le Samurai and Poggio II?  These are questions that maybe the Equestrians could answer.

  1. Not sure when you wrote this article, but if you knew Amy Tryon you would not be so hard on her. She is a wonderful horsewoman, caring and loving to her animals. What happened was an accident and shame on you for jumping to this conclusion. She has suffered enuf for losing her horse. She was disqualified because of a new ruling not for anything else.
    She is a wonderful rider.
