Chidzambwa will be taking over as the new coach of the Warriors or the Zimbabwe National Team. Brazilian National Valinhos who has been coach since January 2008 and without compensation since May of the same year has been removed after Zimbabwe failed to win its World Cup Qualifier. Chidzambwa has inherited the problems such as the failure to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.
Zimbabwe will unveil their new coach on Thursday the 20th of November 2008. It is hoped that Chidzambwa will be able to steer the Zimbabwe National Team forward to maybe a future World Cup in 2014 and 2018. He has been the coach two times in 2004 and 2007. He was also coach of the Umtata Bucks Team. What happens now remains to be seen.
