Mike Huckabee who is the Ex Governor of Arkansas is the host of a FOX News programme with his name. In one segment, he discussed about how Ex Governor Rod Blagojevich compared himself to the father of Modern India Mahatma Gandhi and his idea of non violence.

Mr. Huckabee then showed a video clip from the NBC Series “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” in which Jay Leno did a monologue followed by a small play. The small play had an actor playing the part of Gandhi and kicking and punching Blagojevich in every part of his body. After the small play, there was a loud laugh and applause from the audience.

I am a US Citizen by birth and still live in America. I would like to take advantage of my freedom to say that this was in poor taste. If the Media Moguls in America want to make fun of the historical figures of America, that is there problem. After all, the USA Media and the country in general ridicule their own leaders and historical figures and are indifferent to such ridicule.

But when the US Media Moguls ridicules Gandhi or figures outside of the USA, they are committing acts of denigrating other cultures. When the US Media Moguls and their puppets ridicule books of the Hindu, Islamic, and other religions, they are also denigrating the people who believe in the values inherent in these religions.

FOX and NBC [as well as other US Anglo-Saxon Media] have crossed the line for insulting the people of the great nation of India and the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. It must be a part of the arrogance of the governing elite in America as well.

If FOX and NBC [as well as other members of the US Mainstream Media] want to win friends in the world, they should at least ask forgiveness from the people of India for their insult. FOX and NBC should publicly apologize to India for this insult towards their nation.

Is there a possibility that FOX and NBC will apologize to the people of India? While it is hoped that they will mend their ways and ask for forgiveness, it is doubtful. The ways of the US Mainstream Media is to ridicule things that they do not understand with the hope of discrediting them.

After discrediting the values of a country including those of the family, the US Mainstream Media then proceeds to replace it with anti family values such as violence, comedy of poor taste, and an entertainment in which “Anything goes”.

The rest of the nations of the world do have the power to boycott the US Mainstream Media. The rest of the nations of the world have the power to turn off the TV or computer when it comes to US Mainstream Media such as FOX and NBC. The rest of the nations of the world do not have to copy the negative aspects of the US Mainstream Media.
