GAYLE HOENIG
Many of you will either know, or have heard of Gayle Hoenig. She is a wonderful lady who has unselfishly dedicated her life to the welfare and rescue of animals all over the world.
We have just received a very sad email from Steve Gassaway of Rescue Without Borders. Steve says that Gayle had a stroke 5 weeks ago and had to be flown on a Flight for Life helicopter to a hospital in Colorado Springs, USA where she had a tracheotomy and was put on a respirator. She has now been taken off life support and is able to breathe on her own but she is unable to move or communicate apart from slight hand movements.
Steve is thinking of setting up a trust fund for Gayle through Rescue Without borders. If anybody would like to donate or just send a message to Gayle, please email Steve on
gassasb@hushmail.com
There doesn’t seem to be much hope that Gayle will recover and the animal world can’t afford to lose a person like her. Miracles can be achieved through prayer so please will everybody join me in praying for her.
