Perez Hilton: Accept People For What They Are

While people of the homosexual and lesbian community talk about human rights and respect for others, they should also respect the people who believe in marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

While writing about this issue a long time ago in Merinews, the response has been accusations of intolerance on the part of the underwriter. There has been a challenge to produce examples of intolerance against those who believe in the concept of marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

The example occurred during the Miss USA 2009 Beauty Contest which was aired live on the US Mainstream Media Channel NBC. The contestant was Carrie Prejean representing California and the Judge was Perez Hilton.

Perez Hilton is no relative of Paris Hilton and the only thing botb have in common is being famous for doing nothing. Now back to the story.

Perez Hilton asked Ms. Prejean the following question: «Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit, why or why not?»

The response of Ms. Prejean appeared to have offended the sensibilities of Perez Hilton. Her response was: «I think it’s great Americans are able to choose one or the other,» she said. «We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what in my country, in my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be, between a man and a woman.».

While there have been boos, the cheers outnumbered them. Kristen Dalton of North Carolina eventually won Miss USA while Ms. Prejean [who was going to win] lost because of her answer.

The response of the so called judge named Perez Hilton was to call Carrie Prejean a «b****’ in his blog and to declare that Ms. Prejean lost the contest because of «her answer». It appears that even in America, an answer that is «not appropriate» even though it is truthful costs a woman a beauty title.

I support Carrie Prejean and her right to answer as she did. It was her right to tell the truth as she sees it. Perez Hilton like most of the Hollywood Elite has exposed themselves for what they are. Perez Hilton and the Hollywood Elite are nothing more than hypocrites who live off the money given to them by people who pay to be entertained.

It appears that Perez Hilton and the Hollywood Elite cannot tolerate the truth when it hurts them. They want us to have their lifestyle or respect it but respect goes both ways. Perez Hilton and the Hollywood Elite should take classes on respecting the sensitivities of others.

  1. QUEER REVOLUTION – a fundamental change in the way of thinking about or visualizing something : a change of paradigm.

Now that two 11-year-old boys have committed suicide this past week, I am EVEN MORE driven to do «radical» actions in an effort to bring attention to our cause. For the record, if you think that DEMANDING WITHOUT APOLOGY what is ALREADY DUE TO ME is «radical», well then – that is YOUR problem.

So I’m afraid that violence against an institution’s property MAY need to be the next step. I don’t know. Something needs to change NOW.

We are harmed by legal inequity.
    YOU are not.
That may need to change as people like YOU try to insert your «religion» into CIVIL LAW.

    1. What two 11-year-old boys killed themselves because they weren’t allowed to get married?!!! Don’t think so, if they committed suicide it might be because they were ashamed of being perverts and they shouldn’t even be having normal sex.

And where’s the freaking legal inequity? You’re a man, you’re allowed to get married to a woman if you wanted to. It’s the gay mafia trying to insert their disgusting sexual perversions into civil law.

We don’t stop you being a pervert if you want but we don’t have to agree with it or accept homo marriages.

      1. Thanks amie for your comments. I agree with you when it comes to marriage. A Marriage is defined as a Union between a Man and a Woman.

People who believe otherwise should be tolerant of other people’s opinions. I also agree with you about the Gay Mafia.

  2. While you are entitled to your opinion, the use of violence by anyone against anyone or anything does NOT justify the means.

If there is legal inequity, why are those who believe in marriage is between a man and a woman laughed at?

Why did Perez Hilton feel discriminated simply because Carrie Prejean was expressing her opinion?

Why was Carrie Prejean unjustly punished for her opinion?
