It is now official that Trump fired Carrie Prejean as Miss California 2009. It will not be denied that the controversy surrounding her may have interfered with her reign as well as torpedo any chances of her winning Miss USA.

After all, the problems of Carrie Prejean started after a mediocre person whose name is Perez Hilton asked her a loaded question about marriage between the same sex. Perez Hilton and others started a hate campaign against her based on her belief that marriage is between a man and a woman. They could not accept the biological truth that God created Adam and Eve instead of Adam and Steve.

The people who talk of same sex marriage, tolerance, and human rights were not tolerant with someone who did not share their beliefs or refused to sacrifice them for fifteen minutes of fame.

The hate campaign started by Perez Hilton lead to the eventual dethronement of Carrie Prejean. There were other factors involved as well.

Carrie Prejean made grave errors such as making appearances without consulting the people who direct Miss USA and Miss California. One of the errors was the refusal to make appearances for Miss California and make appearances without consulting the agency. This was in direct violation of the contract signed between Carrie Prejean and the Miss California Agency.

The contract that was signed between Carrie Prejean and the Miss California Miss Teen California Teen USA was binding and she had to fulfill them. The fact that she shirked some of her responsibilities did not help her cause.

It is not easy to write about this article and be objective. The only thing that can be said is that the beauty contests of today have gone down the toilet.  The time when the four beauties of external, internal, professional, and intellctual determined a beauty queen have been replaced by a circus side show.
