The 2010 FIFA World Cup is only 81 days with television stations as well as other media preparing for this historic event. The World Cup will be held in South Africa and it is a first time that the African Continent is the host. Bafana Bafana is another name for the South African Football [Soccer Team].

It has classified secondary to South Africa being the host country. 

Bafana Bafanais in Group A with Mexico, Uruguay, and France. It also has a  coach who is a legend among legend in his native country of Brazil called Carlos Alberto Parreira. Mr. Parreira has been able to bring a Brazilian style football/soccer game and mix it with the style played in Africa.

The first game for Bafana Bafana will be against Mexico on the 11th of June 2010  and against Uruguay on the 16th of June 2010. The pressure will be on Bafana Bafana to win its opening game against Mexico. The prestige of hosting the World Cup plus the homefield advantage will be enough to help South Africa clinch victories against Mexico which is another organized team.

Bafana Bafana will win its first game against Mexico given its organizational skill, discipline, and the inspiration of its coach. The nationalistic pride that exists in South Africa will also exist. I dare to predict that South Africa or Bafana Bafana will win against Mexico by a wide margin.

Bafana Bafana will continue its winning streal by defeating France and Uruguay to be in first place in Group A. Uruguay is a good team but it presented itself with a weak organization secondary to the onslaught by the Argentine National Football/Soccer Team. France barely classified.

France classified under dubious condition after Thierry Henry Cup reportedly used his hand to score the goal. France was also poorly organized during its World Cup qualifications. France will also be defeated by Bafana Bafana which will leave Bafana Bafana in first place followed by Mexico in Group A.

Bafana Bafana will then continue to advance onto the semifinals of the 2010 World . It remains to be seen what will transpire except that there will be exceeded expectations for Bafana Bafana to succeed. If Brazil does not win the 2010 World Cup, it will not be surprising if South Africa or Bafana Bafana presents the surprise of the century and wins the 2010 World Cup. This would be my prediction barring any upsets that may occur.
