PHOTOS: CHIVAS USA CELEBRATES ARMED FORCES NIGHT
 
CARSON, Calif. (Saturday, May 8, 2010) – Chivas USA celebrated Armed Forces Night on Saturday at The Home Depot Center against the Houston Dynamo. Chivas USA became the first MLS club to wear a special uniform honoring the Armed Forces, and the special jerseys were part of a night full of celebrations dedicated to our nation’s heroes, and to raise money for the USO of Los Angeles and San Diego.
 
Chivas USA wore the blue jersey with a special camouflage pattern printed on the front (see attached images) on a night full of events dedicated to the military, such as a Naval swearing-in ceremony, a first kick ceremony with a chief Navy officer, as well as a special halftime performance by the ChivaGirls.
