CHIVAS USA PRESENTS GIANCARLO MALDONADO AND PAULO NAGAMURA

 

Ahead of the Red-and-White’s debut in SuperLiga next Thursday, Chivas USA of Major League Soccer  presented the Red-and-White’s newest acquisitions, midfielder Paulo Nagamura and forward Giancarlo Maldonado, at The Home Depot Center. Head Coach Martín Vásquez addressed the media as Chivas USA prepares to participate in SuperLiga 2010 with a match against Puebla F.C. on Thursday, July 15 in Carson, Calif. Both Maldonado, who is the Venezuelan National Team’s all-time leading scorer, and Nagamura, who previously played for Chivas USA from 2007-2009, will be eligible to play against Puebla F.C. in the opening match of SuperLiga 2010, which features top U.S. and Mexican soccer clubs and awards the winner with one of the biggest purses in the region. Thursday’s match against Puebla will start at 7:30 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center in Carson.
