Tonya Marie Faris: The 21ST Century Belle Of Southern Americana Music

The mainstream media in Hollywood and other metropolis loves to portray Jessica Simpson, the Jonas Brothers, and even the Kardashian Sisters as examples of culture in the United States of America. The billboards in some US Cities are even bombarded with Miley Cyrus encouraging people to buy her Hannah Montana perfumes.

The reality is that there is a total disconnect from the Mainstream Media and the United States of America with artists that sing from the heart, soul, and even gut. I have interviewed many of these artists and heard their music. Tonya Marie Faris is one of the latest examples of true Southern and Americana Music.

Tonya Marie Faris is one of the few artists who are able to fuse Southern Rock and Country of the 1960’s and 1970’s into her own style that no one can even imitate. It has even been said that she is the heiress to the legacy left by Janis Joplin and Woodstock.

The reason is that her music reflects her down to earth personality, the gut wrenching truth, and the reality that exists in America that most of the elite including the musical ones refuse to even consider. She has lived most of the songs that she composes and sings.

Tonya Marie Faris has been a successful singer songwriter for as long as she has been able to sing and play a guitar. Her songs such as “Wounded Soul”, “Regrets and Redemption”, and “Tired Of The Things I Do” are considered classics in the alternative and true Southern and Americana Music that is emerging in the wake of a decaying artificial culture.

The people who listen to Tonya Marie Faris and other singers of the emerging Southern and Americana genre eventually abandon the artificial culture of Hollywood to listen to her music. It is a music that actually tears at the person’s heart, soul, mind, and conscience forcing people to think.

The second major difference between Tonya Marie Faris and the artists of Hollywood is her generosity towards others.

Jesus Christ or Jesus of Nazareth once said that the people who do things for others so that people will see them will never get to heaven. Who can forget seeing the elites of Hollywood or other mainstream media screaming to the world that they helped this person or another for the sake of publicity?

Tonya Marie Faris is one of those artists who have helped others in miserable conditions without screaming it to the world. It is through these actions as well as her music that she has won a place in the hearts of people including the author.

She appears to be gaining popularity in other parts of the world such as Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia as these areas lose patience with an artificial culture that demeans them.

It is for this reason as well as others that Tonya Marie Faris deserves to be called the 21st Century Belle of Southern and Americana Music. She and others will be around when the artificial artists have been consigned to the dustbin of history or to the Dollar Store.
