I cannot contain myself while writing my first article for 2011 with Javier «Chicharito» Hernandez scoring for Manchester United against West Bromwich. It is also a good way for Javier «Chicharito» Hernandez and Manchester United to start the year.
Javier «Chicharito Hernandez used his head to score the tie breaking goal within 75 minutes. It was a needed booster since Old Trafford was feeling the tension secondary to the equalizer. No one knew where the game was headed.
The reaction of the supporters of Manchester United and Javier «Chicharito» Hernandez was one of celebration. The reason was that Manchester United was able to maintain its standing in the Premier League.
Wayne Rooney started the game with a dramatic goal within three minutes of the game. James Morrison replied by scoring for West Bromwich with a volley kick within 14 minutes.
The game was tense with both teams struggling for posession of the ball. Manchester United had possession within 52% of the game compared with West Bromwich with 48%.
Peter Oderwinge became desparate and went towards Rio Ferdinand. Ferdinand extended his leg in the direction of Oderwinge and he fell.
Ferdinand almost cost the game for Manchester United with his action. He should have received an expulsion. The result was that Oderwinge had a chance to score on the basis of a penalty.
It appeared that the anger that Oderwinge felt ruined his chances for a goal. He kicked the ball and it missed the goal post and disappeared.
Manchester United replaced Dmitri Berbatov with Javier «Chicharito» Hernandez in an act of desperation. It was a decision that was going to help Old Trafford.
The game started to shape in favor of Manchester United and it was almost over after Hernandez scored.
Regardless, the yellow cards flew for Hernandez, Vidic, and Fabio for Manchester United. It appeared the team was making errors in its attempts to cement its victory.
Chris Blunt of West Bromwich received a yellow card for misconduct secondary to his desperation to help his team recapture the moment.
In the end, Hernandez became the Most Valued Player in this game for his quick thinking with his head.
West Bromwich 1-2 Manchester United

Real Madrid Manager Jose Mourinho has submitted three candidates to President Florentino Perez as possibilities to replace forward Gonzalo Higuain.
The three candidates are Javier (Chicharito) Hernandez of Manchester United, Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez of Manchester City.
Real Madrid appears to be willing to pay 33 million dollars and exchange Lassana Diara for Chicharito Hernandez. Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to say no to any offer that will have Chicharito Hernandez leaving Old Trafford.
Emmanuel Adebayor was proposed as a loan for the first few months of 2011 before he was hired on a permanent basis.
Carlos Tevez has expressed a desire to leave Manchester City and is willing to take offers from any club.
Jorge Valdano (a representative of Real Madrid) is expected to negotiate with Manchester United and Manchester City during the transfer month of January 2011 for Hernandez, Adebayor or Tevez.
The U.S. Latin television station Univision conducted a survey of 4,517 people concerning this subject. The question was, who should be the next forward for Real Madrid?
Chicharito Hernandez received the most votes with 60 percent, or 2,750 out of 4,517 votes.
Carlos Tevez received second place with 31 percent, or 1,381 out of 4,517 votes. The remaining votes were divided between Emmanuel Adebayor, Lucas Barrios (Borussia Dortmund), and Nelson Valdes (Hercules).
I do not think that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to release Chicharito Hernandez any time soon. He is one of the biggest stars in Manchester United and has delivered results for the team.
Carlos Tevez will probably accept the offer from Real Madrid if only to leave Manchester City. The price will also have to be right.
While this is my personal opinion, it would be interesting to see what will transpire in the January 2011 Open Window period
