Querida Srta. Nelly Furtado:

I have read that there were other artists such as Beyonce, Usher, and others who performed for Gaddafi’s entourage and received large sums of money.
I have also read that the music industry pressures these artists to donate their money to charity.
While Nelly Furtado made the decision to donate, it was her decision alone. The rest of the artists who participated in these concerts should listen to their conscience instead of the music industry in order to arrive at the same conclusion.
